Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Pechanga Arena San Diego, sustainability is more than an operational consideration—it is an important part of our responsibility to the community we have called home for more than 60 years. As a venue that welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests through our doors, we recognize the impact that live events can have on the environment and the opportunity we have to make more responsible choices in how those events are operated.

Throughout the arena, our team continues to identify opportunities to reduce waste, conserve resources, improve operational efficiency, and incorporate more sustainable practices into the guest and event experience. This includes responsible waste management and recycling efforts, energy-conscious operations, reducing unnecessary materials where possible, and collaborating with our vendors, partners, event organizers, and clients to explore solutions that can lessen the environmental footprint of events held at the venue.

Our commitment is strengthened by the sustainability initiatives of our parent company, Legends Global, one of the world's leading partners to live events, venues, and brands. Legends Global was formed following the combination of Legends and ASM Global and today provides integrated services spanning venue management, hospitality, sales, partnerships, merchandise, consulting, and event content across a network of more than 450 venues worldwide.

Sustainability and social responsibility are key components of Legends Global's approach to venue operations. Across its global network, the company is focused on measurable practices that address areas such as energy and water conservation, waste diversion, sustainable sourcing, and environmentally responsible food and beverage operations. These efforts are designed to demonstrate that delivering exceptional live experiences and operating responsibly can—and should—go hand in hand.
